Good morning, I was searching the interwebs for some info and stumbled upon this forum.

Trying my hand at perennials again tried a few years ago and lost everything.

Also trying a couple vegetables in buckets. Last year I managed to kill a zucchini plant so we shall see.

Welcome Nate! Remember, gardening is a trial and error experience, but if we can help cut down on the errors, we will all be happy!

Nate what zone are you in? When purchasing perennials be sure they are cold hardy in your zone.

    Thank you

I am in 7B , I don't remember what all I planted, but I do know I looked at zones when purchasing.

Thank you 7b it is. Now that I have your zonal info it is helpful when helping out fellow gardeners. Gees sorry you lost the perennials. I can’t tell you how many plants I have lost over the years. I’ve lost count.

I’m in zone 8b usually…Since global warming it has changed drastically and I cannot tell you exactly
which zone makes sense since the weather has changed the highs and lows so incredibly different now.

Seems you’ve had some extreme winter weather in the northeast last winter. You will find perennials that survive and thrive in your area in no time. Welcome

Have some different things planted we'll see what makes it and what doesn't.
