As the title states, my lovely mother got me my first plant. I'm thrilled to have it, but I'm having trouble taking care of it. First, I need to identify it. So please, does anyone know what type of plant this is? Thanks, Guillermo

Matt, Drecaena (corn plant) isn't rare. Most florists, nurseries, and even big box stores have it. Just make sure the tag says drecanena, and buy the smallest plant you can find, since they grow rather rapidly!
