Hi all, just a newbie hoping for help.
This small low-growing shrub has been in the garden since we moved in 15 years ago. I would like to get some more to put in different places around the garden. However I have failed to identify it. Its in flower now and the pics were taken this morning.
About 12 inches high and has staggered thin leaves about 2 inches long. The flower is about 1 1/2 inches across. Hope someone can help.
    Best wishes, Geoff

    Iberis sempervirens?
Or perhaps one of the other Ibiris sorts?

I was thinking same plant at first sight, iberis sempervirens but then, somehow it's a bit different than mine. Mine's a bit more compact, leaves a little shorter and thicker (same for the stems on which the blooms are).
My plants are very "on the same level" I mean pretty much all blooms form a carpet. They are at pretty much the same height. And the stems are rigid, hard to bend, etc...
    Maybe different growing conditions...

Thanks for the replies. The plant does form sort of a carpet of flowers. The photo was taken at the edge of a pathway so may give the illusion that they are taller than they really are. I will have a look on the net at Iberis and see if I can find the genus I have.
    Again many thanks,
    Good gardening,
    Geoff
