help re-painting my room

    i painted my son's room classic blue and it's way too dark. i was wondering if i could paint a lighter shade of blue without using primer.

    I highly doubt it. You wouldn't be able to get the true color of the lighter blue. Just my opinion from experience!

    Kuntrygal is right you'll have to use primer as far as I know. However, there are some paints that say they'll cover anything in just one coat so maybe that's the way to go. Good luck. :stew1:

    Yes I agree with them shana, you should use a primer.. It wouldn't be a pretty finished if you wouldn't put a primer..
