As you know this is a new pond that has been up and running approx 3 weeks. Last night Hanna came through and the rain was horrible. My pond overflowed. We ended up pumping some of the water out. Now the water is all murky and we can't see the bottom. I noticed it was getting murky during that torrential rain. Will this clear up eventually?

For the good news - I have a resident frog and my lily bloomed yesterday!

We tangled with her too. The neighbor's shed flew into our garden fence and destroyed it - also some roof damage. All's well though. I would think the pond will clear eventually on it's own.

Our pond gets pretty murky after torrential rain but does settle down in its own time so yours should too - hopefully. :stew2:
