:stew2: OK, not too 'high'! I'm about 2000' elevation in the Sierra foothills below the Kings Canyon/Sequoia National Parks. I've lived in these foothills most of my life and am a 4th generation Californian. I've been married for 32 years and we have 4 children and a grandbaby on the way!
I have been gardening most of my life, organic as much as possible. I have had to slow down and couldn't do much for several years due to health issues. This year I made myself get out there again, and am doing quite a few things, though a lot slower than before.
I love irises and roses, herbs, wildflowers, morning glories and vegetables of any type.
Being an artist, most of my drawings/paintings are of flowers and things in the garden. I paint some in acrylics and watercolors, but most of my pieces are color pencil renderings. I love the details I can get from them.
Well, got to get out in the garden now. Hope to see you out there. Bye!

Thanks all-I'll check out the gallery for sure! If you can even see it, the avatar is one of mine. I couldn't get it any bigger and stay in the size requirements.
