Still great to see colour. I'm intrigued about the project as well Giz :)

Calvin looks like a budding botanist.

Love your pics. Hibiscus is not my favorite flower, but you have done them proud.

Yes screened in porch with the pool. That is one of the triangle planters I had put in. Anna the baby kitten used as a litter box :scheming: . Fix that by removing a lot of dirt and putting lava rocks in instead of pebbles.

Oooh! :-D Ahhh! They are absolutely lovely, Giz!
And Calvin is too cute, inspecting for whitefly, no doubt. ;)

I know that many folks who live in parts of the country where Hibiscus grows lushly
harbor little love for them. It's true, they can be awfully messy,
all those fallen flowers can turn to a slimy mess if not kept raked up.

But I can't help myself, I am just mad about them!!
    Hey, I'm a native Floridian, :D it's my birthright . . .

. . . besides, they look SOOO right with my flock of plastic flamingoes . . . [IMG]

I love using flamingos in the design. They are great fun and so many people have great memories of practical jokes with flamingos. One of my clients and her neighbors have moved them back and forth from yard to yard in the cover of darkness for 30 years now. Another has the appropriate number myseriously appear on his front lawn each birthday.

Gorgeous! I want to get some hibiscus this next spring, a blue Rose of Sharon if I can find a good one. The kitty looks very content.

I had a pink hibiscus when we lived at a lower altitude. They won't survive here in winter. I really like the red one. Dooley

Beautiful!! I think the bottom one needs to go into our new photo gallery. I am trying to learn to do the necessary steps to move photos from one place to another, so bear with me.
