Well.... almost finished. Hubby got the first coat done. It will probably be spring before he can put on the second coat of paint. We also want to frame around the windows.
This photo really shows the different between old and new.
I really like the off-white/cream trim color (you can see a splotch of it against the old white.

And here it is wearing it's first "coat".

That looks pretty spiffy, Cheryl. It looks like your weather there is much better than mine.

Thanks Sjoerd... photos don't do it justice. Even though it's not a major color change... it looks 100% better! And yes... our weather has been pretty mild the last few days. Today was just about perfect... lots of sunshine and temps in the mid 60F.

Gosh the new paint job really freshens up the house and makes it much brighter and cleaner looking. Your husband has made a good job of that first coat.

I felt so guilty when I saw your post ..... I have a door that I sanded down about four months back I think and I haven't even got a drop of paint on it yet!!

Nice paint job Cherylad, your hubby is a good painter, err...can I borrow him for just a short while? :)

Thanks Frank, Eileen and Jerry. Yes... I told him it HAD to be done for the holidays.

And KK... I'd gladly send him over to do your painting. He's not fast... but he's very good at it. Doesn't make a mess (like me)!

Netty... not sure I could get away with putting a garden there..... that's where the septic system is.
BUT there are purple irises all along there.
Here's a photo from last April.
