Friday I mulched up all the leaves in my yard. So instead of having a bunch of big leves I then had gazillions of small pieces. To day we have 30 mph winds out of the south southwest. All of my leaf residue is gone out of the yard! Blown into the neighbors field behind me. And of course the trees are just about all nekid now.

Capt Kirk, Very lucky if you didn't want to put some of that mulch around a plant for the winter. Otherwise you would have to go over to your neighbor and ask him if you could have some of his mulch.

I'd trade you homemade bread for those chopped up leaves! We have few leaves here in Texas that are big enough to matter for mulch.
I hope your neighbor gives you some of whatever he grows in that field next year, since you contributed to its fertility.

The field is in a set aside program where he gets paid by the government to not plant it. It is sown to wetlands grasses. There are several pheasants that live in it. I can hear the roosters crowing over there every morning.

We had high winds yesterday too Capt.
There is not a leaf left on the trees OR in the yard!
