Yep, I've been busy in the apartment. Have seeds on the way. Even though I sowed lettuce and various seeds on 11/5/17, they still are not quite ready because of the cold this year. However, i had to start my hydroponics in the spare bedroom. Here they are...moving to their permanent home in about a month or before. Good ole PVC....a little dark but you get the picture! Those things are coming along really well.
The media trhat you have them planted in looks like bread. It isn't though, is it?

    Hee, hee, hee......right.
What is rock wool actually? I mean from what substance is it made?
It looks like it is doing the trick.

We finally ate the lettuce and kale..it was starting to bolt...had to add some store bought lettuce and spinach, but man did we have a lot of lettuce and kale. I have more on the way and will be ready in about a week. It was amazing once again. Heck I was out on my patio messing with my plants out there and pull off a kale leaf by accident....man was that awesome to eat straight from the "garden". I hadn't felt that feeling in a really long time. The temps here are in the low 80s and perfect. Don't want to get too
ahead of myself for the cold snap that we will probably have.
Basically, this is what is left from the kale and lettuce in juice and water bottles.Yes that is basil, parsley, kale and lettuce.

My lettuces and tiny tomato plants in hydroponic solution...they are just growing crazy!!

Well, I just cant get over it---you are eating your own veg and there is snow and ice on the ground here...and what was left over is still quite something.
R-e-s-p-e-c-t---that is what I have for thee.:)

So then, looking closer-- I see a bottle wrapped in a sort of blue serviette. What's in the bottle, Humm?

BTW---I know exactly what you mean about the feeling you were describing when you nibble from your own veg. I get that as well in the summer. I am always eating (sampling) as I walk by the various crops or flowers like nasturtiums, borage and the like. Yeah--I recognize that feeling well.

Keep up the good work and keep on posting about your accomplishments.
