I'm sure he must be starving if he is out in that weather! Good shot, B.

Our woodpeckers are out in this terrible weather too Barb. I feed them even before I feed myself each morning. Hand-made suet is the ideal thing for them at this time of year. :-D

That is a cute-looking little fellow, B. I see much fewer birds now that there is so much snow. I wonder where mine are.

    Thanks for Looking Everyone,

They sure do love sunflower seeds.
I used animal fat, what do you use?

I have lots of birds.. Fighting over that an the wild seed feeder.

I use animal fat...but I also split a coconut in half and hang that up for birds to eat. They seem to like it alot. I am on my second coconut now.

I used bacon fat with tons of seeds and oats, but they didn't seem to like it much... they didn't like the store bought suet either. I hope that means they are finding other sources of food. Our snow is gone.

    Lovely pics by the way!

I never heard of the oats part .
Corn an sunflower birds around her love. We dont raise oats.
    corn an sunflowers

I still see the birds chewing on my tall flowers an bushes.. Mulberry bush I raise for them. Grape arbor ,
    any bush with seeds .

Plant sun flowers next spring an you will see the birds flock there.

    I did .
