Beautiful plants and critters. I saw one of the Clearwing Hummingbird Moths out in the garden way back in early April, first one for me.
I have all the other critters but this summer stole those same plants from me.

You must have the patience of a saint or you've glued all those insects to your plants!! :D Sherry I creep up on mine, raise the camera and depress the button only to find that they've flown away. :( Excellent photographs. :-D

eileen...you do have to sneak up on the butterflys at times. Shadows and the crunch of grass can scare them off. I have to make sure the camera straps are not swinging or the lens cap on a strap. So many times they fly off just as you are getting them focused in... :'(

Thank you everyone... I spend hours outdoors and my camera is with me most of the time or right on the kitchen table for me to grab.
