Anticipated, and yet I am so unwary as to let it creep upon me, and surround me without realization. How can something watched for with such intensity be so stealthy that it catches you unaware? I wish I knew the answers to my questions. What is it I watch for? The coming of dawn and daylight.
Honey, come on down to Texas--our dawn comes up with a roar and a red sky, then it turns into a beautiful azure blue with puffy white clouds drifting hither and thither. I go out to the barn at sunrise, and it takes me a goodly amount of time to make the short trip because I'm standing and watching the dawn arrive. One of the many advantages of living in the country is that you are up and moving before dawn!
24 hours I see it all. The subtle changes of the changes. With no TV to waste my time, I am outside much more than I am inside. If you want something elusive, look for Mercury this week:before it's gone. Another interesting thing to look for at sunrise and sunset is the new moon crescent and the waning moon crescent. And if you want to go galactic, position yourself under a starry sky and orient your focus from the rotation of the earth to the solar systems orbits then to its path through the milky way. You can also go the other way, down to the quantum level. It is here where one can become one with all, The Source. By the way, your post was written so poetically.
There are many silent things that impress us. We called our Newsletter Whispers, and we explain why here. We thought the name well represented the things we love so much in natural world around us: the sounds and changes in nature carried by the wind; the subtle passing of the seasons; the calming serenity of a wildflower garden and the gentle quietness of the forest. Next time you're in a special place in nature, listen to the whispers.
The Nature Inn Might take me a few days to go through it all, but from what I've seen, The Nature Inn is a class act. Thanks.
