This morning, Macy escaped under the backyard fence, so I went around front to let her in. As I was closing the door, another dog shoved his way through! Its a young looking dog, mixed breed, possibly some Chow. Hes so cute! Im going to take him to the vet to see if he has a microchip (he doesnt have a collar), but first Im going to get some pictures :D Angel and Macy are trying to get him to play ^_^ Hes so friendly!

If he doesn't have a microchip and you can't find his owner - will you keep him? Looking forward to the piccies you take so that we can see him too.

I took him to the vet, and he doesnt have a chip. So Im going to walk him around and see if anyone recognizes him. If not, Ill make Found signs. I went to the kennel I work at and used their digital camera to take a pic and i printed it out :) He is so cute!

I doubt mom will let us keep him :( Weve already got 2 dogs, 2 cats, 4 mice 3 goldfish and a hermit crab ^^ I would love to keep him, but not mom...

I just found his owner! I was taking him for a walk, and saw a sign on the community mailbox with his pic and a phone number. Turns out he lives just a few houses down from us! YAY!

How kind of you to take the trouble Bip. I'm sure the owner is grateful to you. Strays keep turning up at our doorstep too. So far I've kept three: two cats and a shetland pony. :D

Enjoy your vodka, Bip. Well-deserved reward. We bought the Shetland in the end. Couldn't bear to part with him.
