but for some reason, I love the photo. Now i would have taken more if I didn't have somewhere to be and it wasn't so cold and I wasn't carrying a bunch of stuff, but this was taken with my phone, and for some reason I really liked the look of it and wished to share

This is from a tree, these buds if you want to call them that... or know what they are called, they are on these little trees all year around, not sure what they are for as they don't ever bloom, they just sit there, but it made for a real impromptu photo opportunity. Hope you enjoy :)

That for me is one of the beauties of nature - even the smallest things can fill one with wonder. Please post more impromptu photos Shawchert, amongst others of course :stew1:

I love impromptu photographs like yours and have taken quite a few in my time. Yours looks like the bud on a willow tree and makes me think of spring. Thanks for sharing. :-D

When I first viewed your picture, my imagination let me see a tiny little birdie perched at the tip of the branch.

Thanks everyone, I will do my best to post more when I can, it's too cold. I missed an awesome oppertunity to get a house sparrow in front of the american flag last week, so i'm keeping an eye on the bush and keeping my camera with me at all times lol. People keep scaring them away though XD
