These are the head/foot boards of a crib which was recalled. I hated to throw it away and used it as a fence in my backyard.I am planning to use the railings of that crib as trellises. How does it look?

    That looks great!!
Be sure to use a weather sealer of some sort on it or you won't have any of it left in a couple of years.
Post photos of the other parts when they become trellises too.

I think they look quite attractive. How tall are they, Tina?

Toni's suggestion for weatherproofing is a good one if you want to use them for a few years.

    Yeah--they look quite smart.

What a good idea.....I love it. I am going to do something like that. I have so many places that I can apply this idea.

    Thanks Sweetie Pie....

I got hold of an old crib a few years ago, and never thought of sealer on the wooden parts. So far, they are still there. I have them for trellises in my veggie garden, and the spring part also.

    Old cribs make great trellises.

    Yours look very nice Tina.
