Such lovely blooms already! We are very far behind you here. I am intrigued by your birdbath ... did you make it?

Beautiful shots PL. What are the budded stems intermixed with the bleeding hearts?

Thanks! That's my cast iron fence that keeps the dog out of this area.

I enjoy seeing pretty flowers from more southern members. Yours are really nice. I do have some daffodils and creeping phlox that are blooming but my bleeding heart is only up a few inches. It's a good thing as we are suppose to get up to 5 inches of snow tonight and some tomorrow also. It will melt quickly as it has been getting warmer so I'm not too upset.

Looking great! I love Bleeding Hearts and tried growing them once. It's just too hot for them here I guess. Oh well... at least I can enjoy seeing yours!

Lovely PL! I really like dwarf iris & those periwinkle blue one are gorgeous. In my garden the dwarfs don't seem to be so bothered by the iris borer. Have you found that to be the case in your garden?

I find that to be true also. I have not had too much trouble with the iris borer, but if I do, it's always on one of the larger varieties.
