Back in the heat of summer I found a Knock Out Rose trial garden that Texas A & M University has started at a park in a neighboring city. The first chance I got to wander thru and get some pictures was in early October so there were not very many blooms, it was still hot and very windy.

I purposely waited to post them until the dead of winter when you all really needed some pretty flowers to enjoy......or go mad from the solid white outside your window.

I don't have the names of any of the roses but I promise to go back early next summer for more pictures and names.

And the last is a migrating Monarch in the middle of a yellow Lantana shrub.

those are beautiful they certainly brightened up this grey winters day, thank you for sharing them and for thinking of saving them for now when we need some colour and remind us of what we have to come in spring

I love that very first photo. That looks like a lovely place to wander around Toni. And thanks for thinking of us poor, color starved folk in the dead of winter!
I look forward to more :)

I love you, Toni! :D I don't care what the names are, as long as I can sit here and drool to my heart's content.

Those pics are so pretty. Even though we do not have
those cold temps, it's nice to see beautiful roses.
I could almost smell the heavenly scents!

What a perfect timoing, Toni. Those roses are gorgeous and the splash of sunlight and colour is just the ticket on a day like today.
Thanks so much for showing these.
