lady's finger (okra) for winter

    i deserve to drink my latte and kunafa

    after 2 hrs i finished of saving fresh okra in freezer for winter . here always okra is available but in winter the price goes high also when you have at home whenever you like you can cook . usually i keep vegis and some kind of food in freezer .
    this is how i do the work

    first clean and wash them like this

    then boil some water and add the okras wait 5 - 6 mnts gets boiled

    later drain the water and keep aside until cool down

    and finally save in plastic bags and put in freezer

    done .

    What kind of okra is that ? Does not look like ours in the US ! All I do to our okra is to wash, dry and bag and freeze ! I never cut okra before freezing or cook because you get slime !

    @mart we dont cut too much just the top you cant eat its hard part.
    same like this image but the one i bought is mixture of small and long okras.
