It is mid-October and I have NEW blossom on my lavender plants and even spotted a couple of bees making the most of it in the brief spell of sunshine we had yesterday afternoon. Crazy weather.

I could do with a little of your sunshine up here. You're right the weather is crazy and unpredictable in the UK isn't it? Let's hope the frosts stay away so that your bees can enjoy the new lavender flowers for a bit longer.

I didn't plant my lavendar in the right spots (too much shade) and they all died. They are already on my list to replenish next year.

Hello KM--Amazing. Do you recall what type of lavender plant is presently blooming?

Netty, glad you have some as well!

Cheryl, that's a shame so I hope you have better luck next year.

Sjoerd, not off hand but I'll check my plant list and get back to you.

I agree, the weather has been strange, but I have gotten to enjoy my flowers longer so no complaints here :-D
