Long Tailed Tits

    They usually fly through the garden but past few days they've been pecking at their reflections in the windows. This usually means they're nesting nearby.

    Found this when I read the gas meter today :)

    I've had birds do that, stare and fight with their reflection during breeding season. One time I had to cover my car mirrors because a Mockingbird was sure that that guy in the mirror had eyes for his mate !!
