Looks like a fuschia, but orange. fuschia like leaves.

    I took this picture in Ireland 2 summers ago. I would have sworn it was a fuschia with those flowers, but can't find an example of an orange one. I have several other pics from that same vacation, but I can't always remember anything except the flower.

    The flower looks like a crocosmia, although they do not have fushia like leaves, but swordshaped leaves much like an glad only narrower.

    Really. We have those here and I never thought of that. I looked at the web site you sent. Could be, but I don't think so. And I was so besotted by the flowers, I didn't think to ask or to look most closely.

    I agree it does look like crocosmia/montbretia Jan. Another lovely photograph.
