Lots of herons.

    Always see a few herons when I visit the lagoon. This one was just wandering along the stony beach.

    Great photo. I wonder if it isn't a young bird with all the soft fluffy feathers on it's neck.

    First time I have seen a heron in such detail. We have a type of heron here (I don't know what kind). I can never get close enough to get a photo of them as they are are standing in water off the shore. Thanks for sharing I enjoyed looking.
