This marinade adds flavor to beef, and also tenderizes it. Using either a chuck steak or a flank steak, marinate overnight. You can grill it over charcoal or in the oven--either way it tastes great!

    !/2 c. soy sauce
1/2 c. olive oil (not extra virgin, just regular)
    5 tblsps. honey
    1/4 c. fresh rosemary leaves
    6 garlic cloves, minced
good grinding of fresh black pepper

Put the steak in a plastic bag, add marinade and marinate overnight. If you want to cut the meat into 1" cubes before marinating, and use it as shish kebab, that works, too.
Warning: this marinade tastes awful on pork or chicken!

Thanks for the marinade recipe. I'll try it the next time we have steaks as it sounds very tasty. :stew1:
