Sone random stuff around my garden and yard now.

I still have a LOT of work to do in the back yard / rose garden / duck yard. Meanwhile, some old yellow tall bearded irises are blooming. I don't know the variety. They came with the house.

There's a massive rhodie in there too.

These are some historic bearded iris varieties. Nicely fragrant, like candy. Not as frilly and showy as the modern ones.

I started thinning apples and pears. Gravenstein, before.

    After.

I walk around with kitchen shears, snipping off the extra fruits.

This is Lattarula fig, also known as White Marseilles. It's the earliest I've seen it have such large developing figs.

All of the squash seedlings are planted now.

I've been working on the third main branch of the drip irrigation system. I think the emitters need replacing. I replaced the main line, and water flows through it. But the emitters aren't flowing. I want to connect it to the squash plants. The less water I have to carry, the better.

    Looking good Daniel :)

We have a fig in a large pot. I tried to move it last year. No chance, it's rooted to the ground now

Daniel— your things are all looking so good already. You are a bit ahead of us. I can’t wait to see your fruit and veg when they are further along. Well done so far.
