I gave this memorial plaque to my husband many years ago. It's in memory of the loss of his best friend who was killed April 23, 1970 in the Vietnam War. This is rusty steel so we will have it for many years to come. Many are made of wood that doesn't take the weather well. We had a young local artist make it. It sits in one of our gardens around our yard so many many people can enjoy it through the year.

    Very moving, Ware.
Like Loggie said, it is thoughtful too.
I think that anyone who has been in any country’s armed services will ‘get’ this commissioned art work of yours. It brings back memories to me.
