Microstegium vimineum (Japanese Stilt Grass) or as I like to call it, the cockroach of weeds. The only saving grace to this weed is that it is easy to pull up. But, they are amazingly invasive survivors. Poor liriope, but lucky for them that they live with you. The grass is very pretty, but if I get some I'll remember not to plant it in the ground.
