These photographs were taken in my gardens mainly on the lawns. The male pheasant had visited for over six years then in 2016 he brought his Mrs with him. I have not seen either since 2016. They came twice a day for bird seed. A shame they don't come anymore.
We get the odd pheasant dropping in for a visit here too David. Sadly we see more dead on the roads than we do in the garden.
Hi Eileen, Over the years the country side around me here in mid Cheshire has gradually got worse with housing estates, industry and other factors. Cheshire used to be the milk county of England and alas many farms have no cows at all. People even complain about feeding birds and do not understand what wildlife can bring into their lives.
