For the last few days we have been enjoying watching the Baltimore and Orchard Orioles, Ruby Throated Hummingbird, House Wren, and Rose Breasted Grosbeaks. Today when we took a golf cart ride down to the river behind our property. There was this little cutie bobbing along the edge of the river catching bugs.

This is a spotted Sandpiper. It was quite funny to watch as it bobs up and down. Almost looks like it is taking a bow.

Well caught Tooty!! These little birds are so well camouflaged that it can be difficult to get a shot of them.

This one was just walking up and down at the edge of the river. Lets me get quite close. I'll see if I can get some more pic's of him. The sure do walk funny with their constant bobbing up and down. That would tire me out.

Great shots, nice to see them getting used to the feeding spots. The young ones are showing up as well.

Another great shot - the house finch really stands out against the goldfinches doesn't it?
