Hi, I'm Cappy and I live in Dayton, Ohio. I was reading in a shady little dell today and was visited by this little guy. He was gentle, we had no disagreements and i didn't think a thing about it until I got home and decided to try to ID him. I can find NOTHING like him in any of the pictures I'm looking through. Nothing with stripes so distinctive, and anything I'm finding with orange underwings includes a brownish stripe across them, which he did not have. I'm really curious now! Hope someone can help. Thanks in advance! :?:

Hello, sbcappy, welcome to Garden Stew where we love to help solve these kinds of puzzles...
Now tomorrow, go back to that place but take along your camera (some cell phones have photo capabilities) and get a picture of the 'little' guy to post here and I'll wager someone will recognize him..
