Wednesday when afternoon, I preformed my normal after work chores...let our doggies out to play, feed the critters, pull some weeds, etc. I heard some rustling in the woods and assumed it was my mama racoon coming by for her afternoon snack. I finished up my chores and went inside to spy at her from the kitchen window. What a shock to find out it was our fox. He/she usually comes by after dark.
Mama racoon came by about 15 minutes later and ran the fox off...then a cat came by to run off the racoon. Which didn't work. Then the kids from a few houses down came by to run them all off. So I ran the kids off :)
    Hope you like to photos!

Oh I most definately do Daph!!!! :D What fantastic shots. Your foxes are much greyer on the face and body than ours and seem to have denser coats. The dove doesn't seem too worried that the fox is nearby does he?

I hope after all that 'running off' nobody came around and ran YOU off!!!! :D :D

Great pictures! They're usually pretty shy around here, and I've only seen them a few times (never able to get a picture as they were so far away). I hope you don't have any chickens!

Lovely fox, and very different from our red ones. I was kind of waiting for a bear that ran everybody off in there somewhere. :D Wish I lived next door to you.

The birds do not seem to mind the other critters with the exception of the neighbors cat and the hawks. Which reminds me, I never shared the hawk photos. I'll have to do that soon.
Our little fox is shy too....I guess he or she was too hunger to wait for the sun too go down.
I'm sure going to miss my little visitors if we end up moving. I told my husband that he better start catching the critters to take with us. :D

Great photos DaphDaph! I love to watch my Foxes, but they look much different than yours-almost all red and smaller.
We have 5 baby foxes at work now and I hope to get some photos. I have noticed a definite decrease in the bunny population :)

Great shots DD. The lovely little dove seems oblivious as to his surroundings.
