I get a lot of deer in the yard. Luckily I have a fence around the garden. My Bengal cat keeps an eye on them, and it makes for great photos. This one is my favorite picture. I posted a bunch of other pictures of him and deer, etc. on my blog. Enjoy!

jmarc, The cat is doing a great job there. The deer looks like it's checking out the cat."na na na na na...see, I'm right here, come and get me".

Luke, Lucky? mostly not. They are very destructive. EATING everything..apples, lettuce, beans, peas, the corn silk, tomatoes, flowers, expensive ornamentals, etc etc etc....One got inside my chicken fence a couple weeks ago and then got it's button antlers caught in the fence. Literally destroyed the fence as well as itself. A man not far from here last week hit one with an f-150 pick up truck and it went through the window of the cab and killed him. I had one almost total my van when it ran into the side in the dark one night a few years ago :(. We are constantly scanning the sides of the road, dawn and dusk are the worst right now.
