I just love starting these from seed and dividing them-making up a new plant.

Most all my coleus I have started from seed, just like these little ones.

Here's a new one I just bought this year. I have already took a speciman from it to make a new plant.

Coleus are amazing with all their variations of color and shape and texture! Your newest one is really nice. I would like making lots of new plants too.

How I'd love to grow lots of coleus and be able to put them out into the garden. Sadly our Scottish weather doesn't seem agree with them. :( We can grow them as houseplants though. Your collection is amazing Petunia!! :-D

I am trying to grow them as house plants and so far one container died. Any tips on keeping them alive?
I think if I would of started them from seed they might be better..

Nice collection. I have some outside but the inside ones don't like it here..

Lovely Coleus collection Petunia. I haven't got any this year, and I miss it. I always look for "Black Dragon".

I really like the Coleus as a plant. It is so easy to grow and keep. I like the colours as well.
You just keep coming up with good stuff.

    Thanks for the comments.
My coleus are out in one of the greenhouses for now but soon as the cold weather hits ALL those will be coming inside.
Sherry: I really don't have any problems keeping my plants alive they just seem to be the easiest plant for me I guess. I just keep them watered when they dry out. Sometimes I keep the buds snipped off so they'll get abit bushier. I do like to leave some flowers though to save seeds.
