Yes, my husband talks to the animals!
I was cleaning out the asparagus bed and flushed two baby bunnies. One ran for the compost pile. The other headed for the seasonal garden and realized he was out in the open.
I pointed him out to my husband, who started to talk soothingly to the bunny. Then he picked the bunny up and cradled it in his hands until he could get it to their burrow's entrance and place the little guy at the door of his home. Bunny quickly disappeared.
It's so nice to be married to a man who can cuddle bunnies and raise bees!

    Awww...how sweet!
My hubby once found a young Jack Rabbit on the lawn, scooped it up and carried it into the house to show the children. It sat still and allowed everyone to pat it. Then he took it back outside and it RAN like the dickens!! There were 3 more out there and they ran too, never to be seen in my yard again!!!

What a lovely tale Marlingardener. It certainly brought a smile to my face picturing your husband cradling the little bun until he returned it to its home. What a lovely man you have there. :-D

Nice story...the bunnys around here are too fast because usually they spot the dogs first and are on a dead run to get away.
