My very favorite piece of Pampered Chef went kapooy! As I was putting it away I went to slide it in the cabinet and the entire end broke off. So I tossed it in the trash. :( After a while as I was in the kitchen thinking how wasteful... I decided to pull it back out of the trash and then it hit me as I was looking at it... "A Toad House". It would be perfect!

Carolyn, I confess I am in actuality quite fond of toads. I hope your toad house proves alluring to the little beasts!

From Pampered Chef to Pampered Toad! A very clever use, and your loss is the toad's gain.

This is very very cute. May I copy your idea. If so, I will go right into my kitchen and find something to break.

That's a great idea and a wonderful use for something that was headed for the landfill.
I bet some toad is going to be quite happy with a new home in your garden.

Barb, go into someone else's kitchen and start breaking things! Preferably someone who doesn't know where you and your toads live . . . .

Thanks all for the kind words. I hope to see a very happy toad in there next year. (Hoping it will be toadally happy as Jerry stated).

I've been wanting a toad house and didn't want to spend the money on one. Now a whole family can live in there. :-D
