I've lived on a half acre wooded lot in Indianapolis for 14 years..it's walking distance to a state park..I grow shade plants..annuals and tropicals in pots in the summer..no vegetables or roses etc..I have a very shady lot..but it's a joy to live and work here..

Lovely woodland garden. A wonderful place to enjoy nature.
Does the owl visit often? Or was it a great surprise?

Look at the photo again - middle low down sitting on the branch to the left of the paving slab - do you see it now?
