Mystery plant showed up in my front yard

    It looks like a tree sapling to me. Maybe a Sorbus aucuparia/rowan? I'm not 100% sure though.

    Yes, a tree sapling. Maybe Sorbus or Black Walnut

    My first thought was a tree also. No idea what kind though.

    Doesn't look like the trumpet vines I have seen. I am going to uproot it - unfortunately no room for a tree in my front yard.

    I must have pulled a hundred tree seedlings this year alone. Only about six of them found new homes (a co-worker wanted filberts and walnut trees). The rest have been composted. I could start a tree nursey with cedar, several types of maple, walnut, filbert, locust, and several more types of tree starts. Guess they call us the Evergreen State for good reason. ;)
