Hi, I have a mystery vine that showed up on the trellis behind my black knight buddelejas last year. It grew over a few of them.
I only noticed it as it flowered last year and stood out with its white flowers.

Well its still here this season and growing more. I did feed it a lil. :)
I don't have any pics of its flowers yet but maybe the leaves could offer a clue?

I like how its looking like a heart back there. :)

    Any ideas?

Do you have a pic of a bloom from last year? The leaves look like Clematis terniflora. Hopefully it's something else.

Sounds like it could be a clematis like u describe........which is ok because I like how it flowered last year. I don't remember it being deciduous though.......hmmm....guess when the flowers come in we will know more.

I'd be ok with that too! The leaves seem a lil different from a honeysuckle though upon google search but who knows...

    Come on flowers!

I'd be leery of anything that just showed up like that & got as big as that in just a year or two. Just saying. Hope your house is a safe distance away. :)

I've actually been looking for things to grow on this trellis for a while now so I'm not too worried about it. A few chops at the ground would kill it if I had to.

    No flowers yet....

That looks like an evil vine I have in my back yard growing all through my shrubs. It's almost impossible to get rid of. I don't know what it is called, but if it is the same as the plant in those pictures, beware.
