Here is a close up of that neat looking pinwheel flower that I posted from my Garden Walk post. I hope someone will be able to tell me what it is. I think it is a perennial, but not sure. I love the unusual look of it, and the color.
Osteospermum ecklonis I have seen them offered in one of the plant catalogs I get every spring but can not remember which one.
Carolyn, 2ofus and, Toni; Thank you for the great ID. When I googled it I found out that it is an Osteospermum spider. It comes in pink, purple, and white. They are only grown as annuals in my area. But I love the colors and unusual look of the flower. I will be growing those in my garden next year.
