I tried to go to one of my regular groups this morning and it had the correct name and all seemed ok but all I got was a blank, white page. I have tried all my other groups and all is fine so I know it isn`t my computer. Would someone try www.antique-shop.com/forum/ and see if you get the same thing. They may be doing updates but no one notified the members if so !! Thanks,

I get a message saying - The website cannot be found Mart. I think the site is probably down at the moment as it's the message I get when these forums are out of commission. Fingers crossed they'll be back on line for you soon.

I looked into it a bit further for you Mart and this is the information I got about the site.

"This error (HTTP 404 Not Found) means that Internet Explorer was able to connect to the website, but the page you wanted was not found. It's possible that the webpage is temporarily unavailable. Alternatively, the website might have changed or removed the webpage."

Usually when I get this type of explanation is means that the website is having problems with its server. Let's hope it's nothing more sinister. Are there any other members of the group that you could e.mail as they might know more about what's going on?

Directory diving produced a message that they were trying to restore a backup of the database. It is still there. They are just having problems.

Thanks everyone! Evidently they had server problems and are trying to get it fixed. I did send a couple of emails to the mod. but haven`t heard back. Thanks Frank, that would be a helpful website. Going to write that one down. I hate to have something just disappear and not know why .
