New faces at the feeder, can you help identify

    Haven't seen these two are the feeder, do you know what they are?

    Need help identifying both of these birds.

    Isn't the first one Ugly grackles?

    Bottoms one titmouse or nuthatcher? I think

    The first ones are immature male Red-winged Blackbirds.
    They in the same Family as Grackles but different Genus and Species. The ones that visit my yard appear to wander a lot, they are here in the spring and fall but somewhere else most of the year....in other words they don't tend to hang around and cause problems like the Grackle.

    The last one is a White-breasted Nuthatch. They are usually found in forests but I guess your birdfeeder was just too much temptation for that one. They like insects and large meaty seeds.

    White breasted nuthatch is at my feeder daily.

    Grackle family swams aroung pretty often now, visiting the grape arbor.
