Hi, So glad I was recommended to find this site. Looks like a great place with lots of good knowledge. Should have introduced myself before I posted-but better late than never. Anyone else here from New England?? Z5B?
Welcome! I'm from Texas now but have lived in the northern climate. I haven't been in the NorthEast but have traveled quite a lot. New Hampshire is a beautiful state, I think, from the pictures I've seen. Maybe, someday I will get there, too. dooley

Hey Jerry, Your not too far away at all, I'm in the southern part of the state-Salem. Are you warmer than 5b?
Hi Jan, By half a zone at 6a. We are rarely affected by frosts for 6a as we are on a hill. However, the sun rises late, we are on the west side of the hill. You could say we live in a microclimate. Jerry
