Even tough we had a brown and green Christmas here, the weather was really nice. Bright sun and the temp. got up to 49 deg. F. If you had to be outside it was really pleasant. Tues is supposed to be a mix of rain and snow, and another chance of rain on Fri. But nice for the New Years weekend.

We're back to gale force winds and rain here. However, the temperatures have gone up to +13C today instead of the -3C we had just a few days ago. It's exceptionally warm for this time of year - especially compared to the same time last year.

I know lot of people want it to snow.Ones who make $$$ plowing parking lots. But I like no icey roads. Is getting little colder and very windy yesterday. Will have to get watering cans out and water plant I planted Thanksgiving.

I was so pleased to have a brown and green Christmas. We have been enjoying record highs, in the 50's F. People are out biking, walking, and loving the mild weather.
I even did some leave raking yesterday.
Last year at this time, we were just buried with snow and cold temps. I'll take it as long as it lasts! No treacherous traveling.
I know Mother Nature will make up for it though.

Yup we also had pretty mild weather over Christmas. Although it did snow 2 days before Christmas. It was only enough to make the ground look white. It really added to the Christmas feeling. But by the day after Christmas is was all gone as our temp's were in the low 40's.
Today it rained. Crazy weather-but at least we don't have to shovel it. :stew1:

We are getting rain right now. So nice for plants.when it gets cold. Also rivers need water-or big fish kill when it gets cold also.

It is 59 degrees here today. The wind is gusting, and the weather person said to enjoy because really cold weather is coming in next week. We need some freezing weather to kill off the germs and pests.
