Nuthatches...

    We have 2 nuthatches that come to visit. We decided to put out some suet and thistle because we haven't had the eagles as much as last year.... A very gloomy day...

    I like seeing these creatures, Sherry. We have two types of this bird...but usually they are only seen in the woods over here.

    We don't get nuthatches this far north but we do get tree creepers. It looks as though the nuthatches are really enjoying those suet blocks Sherry.

    We have lots of Nuthatches, they fly around with the Chickadees and Titmice during the winter and are frequent visitors to the suet feeders. We had them nesting in the corner of the screened deck for several years.
