It's been a very busy week here, but that's no good excuse
 I just didn't make the time to take or post pix - 'til now.

I hope you'll forgive my lateness,
you've all been so generous to share your fantastic decorations,[IMG]
and I've really enjoyed seeing them all.

As usual ( ;) for us) our tree is decorated in a woodland theme,
with pine cones and berry garlands and Spanish moss in place of icicles.
It is inhabited by birds and other animals -

    from the peacock [IMG]
    proudly perched at the top,

to the various and sundry other birds, nesting throughout.

Right down to the base, where little forest animals have gathered -
including a skunk, a red squirrel, a bunny, a hedgehog,
    [IMG]

and a little black bear ( :D who told me to say "Hi" to Dooley),
    he is most interested [IMG]
in a bee hive full of honey, it looks like he's getting a sting on the nose, for his trouble.

There is even a grey squirrel foraging amongst the branches.

    Some cuddling snowfolk [IMG]

Outside, stands the beautiful copper angel which my DH crafted for me
she is more lovely than the photo can show, and impressive
at nearly 6 feet tall, with a wingspan just as wide.

More angels herald the seasonal star.

Zuzu I love your tree!! :D All those little creatures are superb and really give you a warm feeling at this time of year. Your angel is fantastic - you have a very talented husband and I love the decoration on the outside of your home. :stew1:

How beautiful your nature theme is. All the creatures great and small on your lovely tree. That copper angel is a piece to cherish for sure. Everything is so creatively lovely though the snow people may need to get a room. :-D :-D :-D

    Thank you both, so much.

[IMG] They do look like very close friends, huh? [IMG]

Hmmm, [IMG] Snowfolk love . . . [IMG] . . . is that where flakes come from?
    I thought of another snappy question . . .
    [IMG] . . .
but (with some difficulty) I controlled my urge to ask.[IMG]

I love the details of your tree, Zuzu. Those animals are so cute. The angel is really impressive. I don't think I would be able to put it away ever. Your entrance looks so welcoming too.

What a handsomely decorated tree, Zu. So many other things as well, really give the christmas spirit. The outside is well decorated too. You folks did a great job!
It was really nice of you to display these great pics for us to enjoy.
