You are so lovely to offer all that! I have to gather myself to make a list of my offerings. I am really looking for some coleus. I will be back. tx !
Just a note to remind you to tell everyone not to plant Datura where livestock can get it or where the seeds might contaminate a pasture where livestock might be. It is toxic, its common name is loco weed. Thought you might not know this. I had it growing in my flowers but pulled it up when I learned this as it spread to my pasture and I have horses.
"Datura somniferum" Livestock will not eat it! It has a very foul taste! Yes all parts of this plant as well as MANY others can kill. Datura is not Loco Weed that is a was different plant "locoweed disambigulation". Horses will not tough it! Mine have never spread farther than a few feet from the mother plant. I had horses for 40 years and NEVER did one try to eat it! Sheep,Cows, all avoid it if they can! Goats would probly try it because they eat everything!
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Datura You may trust it, I do not. And in the hot dry summers that we have in Texas, livestock may try anything. And if they did try it, horses cannot spit it out,, so they eat it. It is listed as a noxious weed. We grow hay and I prefer not to have it in my pasture as it was before. All I am saying is,,it would be a good thing to tell people so they can keep it contained. All parts of it are hallucinogenic and toxic. Dogs don`t eat poinsettia either but one of mine chewed a leaf that dropped and darn near died. You cannot predict what an animal will do.
