Okra "Thorns"

    Today I harvested some okra and got a little prick. I guess the okra must be reminding me to show Cuatro-gatos what is okra "thorns". This is a close up picture of an okra.

    A friend of mine wears gloves and long sleeves when picking okra--she is really sensitive to the prickles. There is a variety of okra sans prickles, but her husband plants the old Cowhorn variety. Mean stuff!
