One of my favorite Sparrows.

    I think many people tend to take sparrows for granted. However, if you look closely at them they are actually very attractive little birds. Your Chipping Sparrow is just one example of how endearing these birds are.

    They were rather scarse locally for a few years, but for the last couple they've put in an appearqance again. A pair regularly visit the bird feeders on our patio and the bird bath. Today they were both in it and a blackbird was standing on the rim watching them.
