I once found 3 boxes full of Iris roots on the side of the road. I took 2 boxes. I didn't want to be greedy
I have a great Peace Lily that my sis in law was ready to throw away, imagine! It now has a very good home

Now how cool is that! Looks to be quite healthy too! I'm a sucker for the "Reduced for Quick Sale" plants at Lowe's. First of all, I'm cheap and can't resist a $15 plant for $1, and secondly I like the adventure of an iffy rescue. I have a friend who now works in the garden department, and she'll say, "Tell the cashier said 50 cents on that clematis". Oooooh. Fun!
