Driving home from work last night around 11 pm I found this and one other Majesty palm out by the road for trash pick up. What a deal!
Now.. where to plant it is my job today.

I wish someone would dump plants around here. What a great find. I hope both will thrive for you and put on plenty of new growth.

I once found 3 boxes full of Iris roots on the side of the road. I took 2 boxes. I didn't want to be greedy ;)

That's an awesome find. I might have to start driving around looking for plants that are being thrown away and need homes. :p Hope they do well for you. :D

    Now how cool is that!

Looks to be quite healthy too! I'm a sucker for the "Reduced for Quick Sale" plants at Lowe's. First of all, I'm cheap and can't resist a $15 plant for $1, and secondly I like the adventure of an iffy rescue. I have a friend who now works in the garden department, and she'll say, "Tell the cashier said 50 cents on that clematis". Oooooh. Fun!
