Thanks for showing this Zigs. I've been curious ever since you mentioned you were starting them. I don't have sets this year, but I'm going to try this next year for some of the longer season ones that I don't have enough time to grow.

I really enjoyed the video. I've never seen a badger. They're endangered here, and quite elusive. Great posting.:)

Thanks for having a look Mel :)

Doing another experiment with onions next, planting similar sized ones in the same size pots, one see through and one opaque :)

Zigs— i liked that vid. I had an inexpensive trail cam from Aldi. It stopped working after three seasons. I am thinking about getting another one, but this time I will research it properly.
BTW- you looked up das. Chuckle.

Gôh ( our form of ‘cor’ “), I haven’t thought Radio Caroline for ages. I shall have to look them up. Do you mean to say that they are broadcasting now? Amazing.

Anyway, another good posting from Kent.

Very close Mr Mechanic, but it's the Salty Monk that really embarasses them :D

Tetters bought me this trail camera, always catching something interesting :) I did look up Das, nearly spelt it like the Germans do, "DASCH !" :D

Yep, they even have a Dutch DJ on Saturday afternoon. They recently boosted the signal and folk from Germany and Wales were texting in to say they could receive it :)

Those two look happy! Especially the onion that seems to sit atop its roots?

They're last years small onions, put them on the soil and they grow roots and become spring onions, dividing up into 2s and 3s. Unless the Monk plays football with them first :D

@Zigs I mean onions hate resistance to overtaking lateral growth more than most politicians from what I understand?

Ah we simu-posted! So it is a happy ball on a root! That is really good to know!

Did a similar experiment to keep the deer away from the hostas. Planted deco onions and lavender around the hostas. It worked well allowing the hostas to fully grow out/

Ta Zigs. I had found it this afternoon. I had a big smile as I scrolled.

Did that dwarf escape from Sherwood? I assume it is Little John…or Friar Tuck?
